How To Make The Mad Men Don Draper Old Fashioned by Drinks Made Easy. In Mad Men season 3 Episode 3 Don Draper is in a bar at a reception looking for the bartender. When he can't find him he takes it upon himself to make his own drink. What he chooses is the Old Fashioned with Rye Whiskey. In this video we have constructed, almost exactly, what Don did. The only thing we couldn't find was the Rye Whiskey he used. Otherwise this is it down to the way he measured and how he mixed it.
