This 6x8 acrylic is a reprise of the original, which was called "The Sun And The Moon In Opposition". Here, the view is zoomed in on the stark contrast between the avenue catching the last rays of the sun and the almost nocturnal view around it. The random lights were done by letting canvas show through. No overall light direction is seen for the darkened town, which reduces it to an adobe-like conglomeration of rectangular shapes. It's another appropriate entry for October; this is quite a spooky place to go out modeling costumes, hoping to charm candy from the denizens of these color-muted warrens.
